Dianhong 滇红 means "Yunnan Red", is a Chinese black tea which comes from Yunnan.

It’s considered as a relatively high end gourmet black tea. The main difference between Dianhong and other black teas is the amount of fine leaf buds, or "golden tips", present in the tea. Dianhong teas produces a brew that is brassy golden orange in colour with a gentle earthy aroma and no astringency. It has a substantial body, and after brewing, it tastes deep and smooth.

Increase productivity

The caffeine in this tea is mostly used to facilitate a feeling of focus or alertness.

    • Many, many re-steeping times

Can steep for about 5-7 times for the same amount, much more than all other loose leave tea brands (also, vs 1-2 times for tea bags).

    • Completely whole leaf teas

Skillfully harvested leaves aren't broken during production. Whole leaves allow water to flow through, enhancing flavors and aromas.

    • No nasties

Nothing is added - No added colours. No artificial flavours. No preservatives. No additives.

    • More nutritious

Older tea trees in China naturally retain vitamins and minerals during growth cycles, yielding high-quality and nutrient-rich teas.

One of the best

I have lived in UK for few years so I drink a lot of black tea. This black tea is one of the best among all. Worth to try!

Productive tea

It boosts my productivity after drinking it. I think it's because of the caffeine. The taste is good too. I drink it everyday in my office.

Golden color

I have heard that the best black tea has the golden red color. I love the liquid color of this black tea. It looks like a flawless cystal.

Similar to darjeeling black tea

The taste is similar to darjeeling black tea. Historically, most tea trees in darjeeling are transplanted from China.

Tasty tea

This is my favorite. Never bitter no matter Tasty tea. This had a darker and more muted flavor that grew on me quickly. The package got a bit squeezed when I received, other than that, it's a good tea : )how long I let it steep. I also have the nice little looking Porcelain cup it makes. Just wish they made a bigger cup of the same type. Lol. If you're on the fence of trying this. Try it.
